Nowadays, the myth of the guitar-hero playing 7min54 instrumentals at the speed of light is no longer really a dream and the great mythical bands are becoming increasingly rare. However, a few rare talented musicians still manage to exert a significant influence on an entire generation of guitarists. This is the case of John Mayer, who, with his excellent sound culture, is one of the guitarists that many want to get closer to, this of course because of his playing, but also because of his sound signature which mixes nuances, solid light, extreme dynamics, organic drive and sobriety. The young man being a fan of gear, it is necessary to have the right tools and the right amp (in addition to a strato) to approach the much sought after "Mayer sound". If one is interested in the career of the artist, there is no doubt that Gravity is his most successful album on all levels. Compounds, a groove and an anthology sound. It's that memorable sound that Nordvang set out to recreate with this aptly named 'Gravity' pedal. The basis of reflection being the very specific sound that John Mayer has on the tracks Belief, Gravity, Slow Dancing and others.
Let's talk a bit about the interface. Out of the "superb" box provided by the brand, the pedal is impressive due to its dimensions. Indeed, it is roughly the size of two BOSS type pedals. This is explained by the fact that the Gravity is a two-channel pedal, with on one side, Channel A which takes up the specifications of the Ibanez TS10 dear to JM. And on the other side the mythical KLON Centaur. Association that JM has favored for many years. On the left, slice A benefits from the usual Drive, Tone and Level controls as well as a mini toggle switch called LOWS. The toggle switch allows you to modify the bass response. Internally you find three DIP switches to control clipping, clarity and brilliance which allow you to further modify your sound. The circuit is totally identical to the original and its buffer too, but the many additional settings really allow you to sculpt your sound in a much more precise and versatile way.
On the right, channel B takes up the circuit of the KLON, another pedal which is one of the pillars of the Mayer sound. We are entitled to a Gain, Treble, Output control and a toggle switch that will allow you to modify the clipping by choosing either a pair of NOS Sylvania 1N34A diodes, or a pair of Schottky.
There is also a last switch that will reverse the order of the two slices as you see fit.
As mentioned above, the two circuits are identical to the originals except for one detail: the quality of the components. At Nordvang, we only use the best: Vishay 1%, Wima MKP10, MKS4 and FKP2 film capacitors, Vimex knobs, Carling switches, Pure Tone jacks, silver plated teflon insulated wiring, etc…
So how do you best use this Gravity? Well, a very good stratocaster in an excellent clean channel, that would already be a good start. Ideally, like the King Tone Guitar The Duellist, the Gravity having been developed on a Two-Rock amp, the combination of these two beasts of race will give you all the quintessence of the sound that you can expect. John Mayer himself using this configuration. Add to that a discrete compressor upstream of the Norvang and you have most of the holy grail at your fingertips. All you need is your fingers!
Guitar in your hands, plugged into a Two-Rock Traditional 100W, the Gravity delivers everything you need. Enormous dynamics, a very fast response, a "fat" side, dense, very thick in the mids that takes you through the mix by adding just the right amount of gain to your clean sound. This clean sound is there, present, the Gravity acting as a "layer" above it, preserving all the original dynamics of your clean sound, but adding sustain, thickness and fluidity. Close your eyes, Belief is there, all you have to do is interpret it.
With the Gravity, Henrik Nordvang has achieved the feat of combining high standards, extreme quality and musicality. Nothing is left to chance and you can feel the passion that he put into making this pedal. It's not only an excellent work of electronics, but being himself a fan of the artist, it allowed him to go where he wanted with the one and only goal, to propose a way to appropriate the his Mayer as faithfully as possible. Gravity
is not only a tool dedicated to the Mayer sound, but indeed a pedal of unparalleled musicality, which will allow you to sculpt your custom sound, by bringing it what all guitarists need: a sound which takes up a lot of space!

Some of the brightest yellowish green tent lights I've ever had
Color: Amber Spot Beam (ZD000706)
I put these on my 2022 Subaru outback the bottom middle section of the bumper in the front spread apart about 2 ft they are very bright they illuminate any reflective surface for at least a mile and a half to 2 mi on the interstate people just move right out of the way when you're behind them because they are so bright five stars very easy to install a top shelf

Well worth the money
Color: Amber Led Offroad Light
Got these mounted on the A-pillars on my XJ. The mounts are sturdy and fairly easy to adjust. The housings are built well.
Wiring is 4 out of 5; battery connection is only a foot from the relay so I had to extend the + and - about 3ft in order to mount the relay in a good spot. Plugs seem nice but trying to run/hide the wires for the lights is difficult due to the size of the plugs. Lights are bright with excellent reach and even spread. Lens are crystal clear. We'll see how they hold up against dirt, grime, and water.
Side note, the spot beam is exactly that and is not even remotely safe for on-coming traffic if it's pointed forward.
I ran these off-road and they were superb and exactly what I was looking for. Well worth the price.

Not bad for money. But the spot lens is def a narrow spot
Color: 4.5inch Spot Light, Color: 4.5inch Spot Light
I did a direct comparison to BD squadron pro with spot lens.
Pic one is 1 squadron spot lens, pic two is 1 auxbeam 4.5
Not a pair. Only one light each.
Then the video is 2 squadron pro one with spot lenses the other with combo lens.
Then both auxbeam 4.5.
I wouldn’t buy the spot lens unless you have other lights or just trying to light a narrow beam a long ways. The fill light is not good.
I say the brackets and the finish is on par with BD, not as deep as the XL80 but similar in size.
The BD XL pro is def brighter with better fill even with spot lenses. I would say 4 of these would match the XL Pro at half the money if you have the space for four of them.
But even 4 don’t match the XL80’s. But for 160 bucks it’s a good solid light.

Great quality, and very bright.
Color: 4inch Spot Light, Color: 4inch Spot Light
I installed 4 of these pod lights in the front bumper of my 2009 f150 (2 spot beam, and 2 combo beam), and I am very pleased with the overall build quality, and brightness of these pod lights. Installing them is fairly straight forward once you have them mounted where you want them, and they look great! I highly recommend these lights if you are looking to upgrade the lighting on your vehicle!
The video I have attached is with the amber lens, and the picture with the lights on is without the lens. I prefer to keep the lenses on most of the time since it does add a layer of protection from the sun, and bugs/rocks while driving. I also do prefer the amber color for driving at night compared to the white.
